I started vacationing on Hilton Head Island in 1979 and have permanently lived here since 1995 when I also started my real estate career.  I am a 1968 graduate of Lehigh University and after a three year tour with the Marine Corps entered law school and graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 1976.  My attorney career lasted twenty years in the Pocono region of Pennsylvania.  A career and life style change brought me to Hilton Head in 1995.

I am very active in the Association of Realtors® both at the state and national level.  Currently I am President Elect of the South Carolina Realtors® and will be President in the Fall of 2008.

Hilton Head Island and the low country of South Carolina is a very special place and you need to visit it often to understand its beauty.  It is not just beaches and its not just golf; it is a relaxed yet rewarding lifestyle – your lifestyle.  Ask me more.

About Mark...

Like so many other island residents and property owners, I was born and spent a majority of my professional career in Ohio.  In 2005 we relocated to Hilton Head Island so as to enjoy the lifestyle of living in a southern coastal climate versus that of Cleveland.   

After earning a BS in Accountancy from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1982, I have had extensive business experience as a Certified Public Accountant, controller, chief financial officer and vice president - general manager spanning numerous industries.  My most recent experience has included involvement with hundreds of real estate transactions ranging from commercial and industrial development to that of managing Keller Williams Realty residential real estate offices both in Cleveland and in the Hilton Head Island area.  

I am locally involved in the Hilton Head Association of Realtors as a member of the professional development committee and the legislative affairs committee. I also am a member of the board of directors of Hilton Head Heroes a not for profit organization that provides cost free vacations to terminally ill children and their families here on Hilton Head Island.
